Was he? His chest ached. A deep hollowing pit radiated in his center. It took him a moment to recognize the emotion as hurt.

Tingles shot to her eyes. Jaxx’s features enhanced.  “What’s happening to me?”

“You want me. And, I’ll be only too happy to accommodate your needs,” he whispered a moment before his head descended.

Tracing his inked skin with her fingertips, she flattened her palm and slid them town his torso until it rested on the waist band of his jeans.
