#Interview with Isobel Reed #Author of #NewRelease Love Tools (Bluestone Series Book 1) #WesternRomance #ContemporaryRomance @GoddessFish

Love Tools (Bluestone Series 1) will release on December 6 in the Contemporary romance genre.

When city girl Lily shows up in Bluestone County, cocky cowboy Jake reckons it won’t be long until she hightails it back to London. It didn’t matter that his heartrate spiked whenever she was nearby. Or that he couldn’t get her out of his head. Because Jake was the king of casual and Lily was apparently the queen of picking the wrong men.

Don’t be an a**hole, Jake.

“Let me guess, you’re here to kick me off my own land now too?”

Dammit.

“Funny. No, just getting the tour from your lovely sister. You sure you’re related?” she sarcastically replied.

There was the sass he remembered. “Ouch. I see there’s been no attitude adjustment since we last met, huh?”

What are you, five? You gonna pull her hair next?

“Be nice Jake,” Sam piped.

Clicking his tongue, he ignored his sister and stared into Lily’s emerald eyes once again. They were even more mesmerizing in the sunlight.

“Sorry, I’m not enough of a lady for you sweetheart.” Her attempted scowl was almost cute.

“I’d be more than happy to teach you some manners darlin’,” he winked.

Deep down he knew that he shouldn’t be trying to provoke her, but he couldn’t help himself. Seeing the fire in her eyes did something to him that he couldn’t explain. Even watching her try to snarl at him was making him feel funny.

AUTHOR Bio and Links:

Isobel was born and raised in London. She still lives along the River Thames with her husband and her substantial book collection. Ever the hopeless romantic, she fell in love with the genre from a young age and was inspired to write her own stories. When she’s not feasting on romantic comedies or binge reading her hoard of contemporary romance novels, Isobel is writing.

Why I write romance – Isobel Reed

I’m going to start by saying that I think a common misconception about romance authors is that they are relationship experts. Or they have the swooniest relationships worthy of a romance novel. It’s definitely what I used to think before I started writing. Like wow, this woman must be having mind blowing sex every night of the week! Good for her, I’m totally not jealous at all.

Well, I was obviously wrong. If I can write romance, then it proves you don’t have to be perfect or living the perfect life. I should add, just so my husband doesn’t read this and file for divorce, I am actually in a relationship. And in love. But I’m not a relationship expert by any means and I haven’t noticed anyone swooning recently when my partner and I have left the house.

So why do I do it if I’m such a hot mess you’re asking? Well, I love love. I always have. Over the years I’ve comfort watched more Hallmark movies than I should probably admit and once I discovered romance books… let’s just say, my bank balance took a beating.

My name is Isobel and I’m a love addict. Aren’t we all looking for love? In a world of constant chaos – love makes everything worth it. Whether it’s romantic love, friendship or family, love is something that keeps the world spinning and hope alive. That may sound a bit cheesy, but it really is something I’ve always believed.

So that’s why I write romance. That and I should also probably mention the fact that I happen to love writing and have a bazillion different love stories in my head. I’ve always been a daydreamer, one of those people who stares off into space all too quickly. And that’s how most of my stories came to life. From fuzzy fantasies to pages in a real-life book. As a London girl myself, I’ve often wanted to run away to a small town in the middle of America to start again and meet a ridiculously handsome man. Thank you again Hallmark. Which is why I had so much fun writing Lily in Love Tools. And why I solely write small town romances.

Now I’ve got all that off my chest, I’m going to go back to binge reading romances, maybe daydream about my next book and eat some dairy milk.
