AUTHOR BIO:Nikki Kiley is an aspiring author of Contemporary Romance. Since she was a young girl, she dreamt of writing stories that would entertain and move her readers, like she was and still is, by talented authors.

When not working the day job running a medical office, she spends hours crafting and writing stories about heroes and heroines earning their chance at love. She makes her home in Puerto Rico with her husband, two young adult children, and a gentle giant, the bull mastiff, Kira.

She loves the beach, her Nespresso maker, and cupcakes (S’more in particular).

How did the series come to life? What was the inspiration for it?

I binge-watch HGTV like it’s Netflix. I love the shows, hosts, and most especially the happy endings. During the lockdown, I avoided watching more depressing news. I took my fascination with home design to the next level. Mixing my desire to write the story, I couldn’t get it out of my mind onto paper. The road has not been easy, but I’ve never felt more satisfied in my journey to publication. The big concept was Property Brothers meets Que Pasa USA(I don’t know if anyone even remembers the show). Having one foot in Puerto Rico and Florida found it easy to write in these worlds, and my main character is a Latina with ambition and a past that threatens to ruin her future. I love a small-town romance, interconnected families, and characters who earn their chance at love.

The Chance Brother Series comprises the five brothers Levi, Marcos, Jeremy, Dale, Noah, and Carlos. They are all owners of the Chance Brothers Construction out of my fictional small town, Saltview. Their titles are Renovated, Restored, Resolved, Renewed, and Rescued. I am in the process of revising and editing Dale and Rebecca’s story in Restored while writing Resolved (Jeremy and Sarah’s). I adore each of these brothers and want every one of them to experience love and a happy ending.
