On Tour with The Last Atlantian by Mikki Noble and Meet the Author

This sounds supercute.

The Last Atlantian by Mikki Noble released in December in the Mythology, Urban Fantasy, Young Adult genre.

Spencer did not plan to work on her birthday. She didn’t plan a lot of things, but they happened anyway. Like, when she touched a guy and he turned into a gold statue, or when some stranger appeared to tell her she was in danger. She didn’t plan to see her life forever changed by one simple act, and it still happened anyway.

What Spencer doesn’t know is why. Why is all this happening to her? Why does she have the power to turn people into gold all of a sudden. Who is she really?

And why is this cute guy calling her the last Atlantian?

AUTHOR BIO:As far back as she can remember, Mikki was creating characters and stories in her head. It wasn’t until fate brushed the tip of its wings over her eyes that she began to see that writing was what she was born to do. She loves animals, reading, everything supernatural related, and enjoys spending her free time on social media whenever she can.

Is this going to be a series, and, if it will be, what Spenser’s characters act will be?

Will it be a series? I don’t know yet. I hadn’t planned to make it a series, but I wouldn’t say no if people want to read more books. There is so much left unexplored in this world. The Last Atlantian actually started out as a short story, that became a novella and probably could have been a full novel. It’s one of those stories that stays with you, especially as a writer.

I’m sitting on an idea for a second novel and Spencer and Eli are so incredible, I would really love to see where their relationship goes. Aside from the two of them, Spencer will have so much to learn and explore in book two. I’d like for her to see where her powers can take her. I feel like we haven’t seen all that she’s capable of.

In the first book, Spencer only gets an overview of her real ancestry. She is thrown into it and not given much time to come to terms with who she really is. In the second book, she’d have more time to learn, to ask questions, to explore. She took everything in stride, especially for such a young girl, but her new world is so different than the old one, it would be nice for the reader to explore it in more detail, I think.

Eli will be there for her in the second book, as well. He has become an integral part of Spencer’s life and they need to get to know each other better, in this new environment, without a huge threat hanging over their head.

Spencer may even learn more about her ancestors and how the Atlantians came to be where they were before the big incident changed everything. She will have more people to get to know also, more characters, including some adorable Atlantian animals, I think.

As you can see, I’ve thought a lot about a second book. There is so much to explore, so much untold. I think a series might be fun, but again, only if readers would like to see more and see where this new world takes Spencer and Eli.
