There’a a lot of books with the Devil as a character, but I think think this book’s viewpoint on it is different. I also loved Delaney’s post, it was so odd hearing how she talked about her dad!

The book is The Devil’s Own (Murphy’s Law, Book One) by K.A. Fox, published a couple of days back in the Urban Fantasy, Young Adult genre.

Delaney Murphy has always known she’s the Devil’s daughter. And although the title itself is a burden, she never expects to inherit all her father’s infernal abilities. When her newfound magic begins to poison the people closest to her, Laney must make a choice. Delaney came by to tell us what are the best and worst things about being the daughter of the Devil.

Best: 1. Hell Hounds can be pretty cute when they want to be.

2. The Devil is actually a really good dad.

3. Being able to work magic is always a plus.

4. Not much scares you.

5.  You’re pretty hard to kill. (But for some reason, things keep trying.)

Worst: 1. You’re always cold.

2. Loneliness.

3. Loving people means hurting them.

4. Nightmares of what the world could become.

5. A really overprotective father.
