My story in this collection will be a series starter, and if I don’t know the story (or the characters) YET, I do know what I want from both this story and from the series.

What I want is bad guys.

Both hero and heroine, I don’t do goody goody heroines as is, I’m not gonna start with this series for sure.

Not horribly bad, I don’t like that.

Let’s say lovably bad – see also Lupen, Shrek’s Puss in Boots, Neal Caffrey from White Collar, Jack Sparrow, and Han Solo. Yes, I realized there are no women in this list and I’m going to fix it with this series.

What I also want is action. I want it to be almost cinematic, and I want movement, and things to happen. I want the characters in this series to be bright and bold like a vibrant oil paint in a grey room. I want them to be bad while knowing where to draw the line.

I want a series of adventures where you find yourself cheering for these very flawed people simply because you can’t do anything else.
