I’m enjoying myself so very much reading this story!

Oath-Breaker (Shadow Pact, #1) by River Starr released last week in the Adult, Paranormal, Romance genre.

No one survives their meeting with the Angel of Death—except for me.

It’s …. busy, which makes it for an exciting read. Lots of things, thoughts, info happens in short time, so you have to be on your feet to not lose details. 

It also makes it for a sort of disjointed narration, sometimes – the only reason why it was not a 5 star.

I enjoyed the heroine’s honesty with her feelings, especially considering the (understandable) prejudice for the Angel of Death.

I wasn’t finished the book by the time I’m writing the review but I’ll keep reading for sure and that is, in itself, a huge hat-off to the author who keeps me into the story.
