It’s more a shout out than a real new release, but I hosted books from this collection and I loved them. So I’m very happy they are now a collection for you to enjoy!
Beaumont Brides Boxed Set Books 1-3 by Laura Haley-McNeil releases today in the New Adult, Clean, military genre.
Book 1: Wherever Love Finds You Ellora Duvall crushed on Zach Lowe in high school. When he deserted her, he broke her heart. Now he’s her stepbrother?
Zach knew the shy girl sitting next to him in chemistry liked him, and she was cute in that girl-next-door way, but the night he planned to ask her out, his parents’ tenuous marriage crumbled before his eyes. Now relationships are something in which he bides his time, until he discovers Ellora working for his competitor. How does he win in business without losing his heart to the one who got away?
Book 2: When Love Whispers
Willow Dockery feels free when she kicks out her boyfriend. The one thing she didn’t imagine? That she’d never be completely free.
Preston Lowe can’t wait to graduate military academy and embark on a career he’s wanted since he could remember. Once he heads overseas, he’ll never look back.
Except he’s looking back now and at the sassy barmaid who has a smile that lifts his heart and a pain in her eyes he’d do anything to erase.
Book 3: Call It Love
Addison Duvall has been working hard for the big role that will make her a Hollywood name. She just never expected that to do the kissing scene with megastar Spencer Kingsley.
Spencer knows he’s a stepping stone for a Hollywood starlet and guards his heart. But walls start to lower when Addison makes it clear she doesn’t need him⸻she can make it on her own. Maybe that’s the reason he can’t get this fascinating woman out of his head.
A native of California, Laura Haley-McNeil spent her youth studying ballet and piano, though her favorite pastime was curling up with a good book. Without a clue as to how to write a book, she knew one day she would.
After college, she segued into the corporate world, but she never forgot her love for the arts and served on the board of two community orchestras. Finally realizing that the book she’d dreamt of writing wouldn’t write itself, she planted herself in front of her computer. She now immerses herself in the lives and loves of her characters in her romantic suspense and her contemporary romance novels. Many years later, she lived her own romantic novel when she married her piano teacher, the love of her life.
Though she and husband have left warm California for cooler Colorado, they enjoy the outdoor life of hiking, bicycling, horseback riding and snow skiing. They satisfy their love of music by attending concerts and hanging out with their musician friends, but Laura still catches a few free moments when she can sneak off and read.
About a decade ago, there was a television series called Brothers & Sisters. If you don’t remember it, no worries. I tried to watch it once, but I never connected to the characters. But I did like the premise⸻adult sisters and brothers navigating personal lives and their careers. I combined that with a brides series I wanted to write and the Beaumont Brides Series was born.
The Lowes and the Duvalls know each other because they went to school together and a couple of them even had a romantic attraction, but the kids grew up, went to college, and embarked on their careers. They looked toward the future instead of the past.
Until the past brought them together. When the mother of six sons, Kim Lowe, marries the father of six daughters, Steve Duvall, that changes everything. These adult children have their lives completely altered. Though they’ve left home, they are still family and deal with the decision their parents made while looking toward the future. I surprised myself by completing the first three books in this series, and what better way to celebrate than creating a boxed set.
