Announcing Trouble by Amy Fellner Dominy released Monday in the Young Adult Contemporary genre.

I may know everything there is to know about baseball, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Or like him. Road to Publication

I started writing ANNOUNCING TROUBLE in the summer of 2017. About six months later, I had a full draft that I knew still needed work, but that I was already in love with. I’d been publishing contemporary YA with Random House/Delacorte, but I felt like it was time for a change. ANNOUNCING TROUBLE was a lighter book, one that fully focused on the love story. I wanted to see this book with a publisher that understood romance—a publisher who celebrated it.
Here’s where the story gets interesting. Because ten years ago, my very first editor, for my very first novel, was a lady named Stacy Abrams. I loved working with Stacy at Walker Books and I was heartbroken when she called to let me know that she was leaving to join a brand new publisher focusing on romance, Entangled Publishing.
Fast forward to 2018. I had the manuscript of ANNOUNCING TROUBLE and I wanted a good home for it. I couldn’t help but think of Stacy and Entangled Publishing. My agent sent Stacy the book while I kept my fingers and toes crossed. I was beyond happy when Stacy loved the story as much as I did. Working with her again has been the best sort of reunion story!
That, as they say, is history. I’ve been working with Stacy and the whole team at Entangled over the past many months. I’m so excited that ANNOUNCING TROUBLE is finally ready to share with you.
