A Mermaid’s Wish by Lyncee Shillard and Meet the Author

A mermaid, Neptune… I like the new take on The Mermaid’s story.

The book is A Mermaid’s Wish by Lyncee Shillard, an erotica, contemporary story.

Aislynn is a mermaid who has watched humans from afar for thousands of years.  A negotiator for Neptune, she wonders, what it would be like to feel anything but especially passion the way humans do when they have sex. The truth is mermaids can’t feel emotions of any kind and hot sex is one of those experiences she wishes for.  When the opportunity to become a human – temporarily – presents itself, she takes it.

Finley McCormock is a hard-core, tough as nails divorce attorney who represents rich women leaving their husbands. He has no time to do pro-bono environmental work like his colleagues or to fall in love himself. Why bother? He knows how marriages end.  But, his new housekeeper, as odd as she is, gives him a hard on he has to take care of.  The good news is Aislynn seems more than happy to oblige. She is his sexual fantasy come true, from the mid-day office visit that includes a spanking session to the trip to Trinker’s Sex Toys. Aislynn is willing to try anything.

But, when Aislynn’s past catches up with her, Finley will have to decide if his attraction for Aislynn goes further than the surface of the water. Does he really want to get in deep with his mermaid?

“Aislynn, my dear, you can’t believe how happy I am to see you again.”

Aislynn’s stomach rolled and her lungs shrunk. She would have run but her legs refused to work. What was wrong with her?

From the shadows stepped a man. Xavier. A smile tugged at his lips. Not an expression of happiness. She knew that.

Wetness rolled down her cheeks. Why was Xavier here? Neptune had ordered his death a  century ago.

“Have you missed me? Oh, wait you wouldn’t really know what that means.” He closed the space between them. “I look forward to introducing you to the many levels of fear. It really is the best human emotions.” He reached up and slapped her across the face. “We’ll start with how pain relates to fear.”

Chatting with the Author

I‘m giving the mis to Lyncee, so she can tell us a bit more about herself and on of her passions:

Happy Chinese New Year! It’s the year of the pig!!!! I love bacon so this is really exciting for me 😛 But seriously I’m soo interested zodiac signs. The astrology zodiac, the Chinese, and the Celtic are my favorites.

The one funny thing about this is that I have none of the traits of my signs. Actually, for my astrology zodiac is Capricorn, I’m the complete opposite. I have nothing in common with my fellow Capricorns.

With the Chinese, I’m a rabbit. Depends on how close you look I could have few of the traits but overall another miss.

I’m a Stag in the Celtic zodiac and this is the closest to me. But still some of the fundamental traits, are not me.

So, what does this mean? Either my mother lied about my birthdate or I’m an alien.  😊

I live in the cold Northern Michigan (the place of four seasons – they lie! It’s just different levels of winter) with my husband. Our children have begun their own adventures, and just as I got into the swing of empty nest, then my grandson came to live with us. Now I’m doing 7 again… they argue everything just case you forgot. And I now remember why I eat doughnuts and drink vodka 😊

When I’m not hanging out with the 7-year-old, I’m writing, reading, crocheting, and making self-care products. I’m a planner babe and vodka wizard. I also enjoy taking pictures, I’m not claiming to have a talent it’s just something I like to do.

Come and hang out with me…we will talk doughnuts, vodka, and planners
