This is the book, guys.
A Ghost Walker’s Love Story by Liza O’Connor.
Alice is a ghost walker: an ordinary person capable of separating her soul from her body. Unlike her fellow ghost walkers, she uses her ability trying to help protect the world from terrorists and madmen. Finding an FBI agent that she trusts, she supplies the information needed to stop several atrocities from occurring.
She believes she is safe from discovery. However, agent Jack Callaghan finds her with clever sleuthing and romances her with pure intent. Unfortunately, their unexpected union brings wrath down upon them from all sides. Her fellow ghost walkers believe she has betrayed their code of secrecy; the director and fellow agents question Jack’s commitment to the agency, and want Alice brought in so they can discover how she disappears at will. In this maelstrom of betrayals, Alice uncovers the truth about the three men who claim to love her and discovers which one holds true.
Warning: Alice is so dedicated to stopping terrorists that she will let nothing get in her way, not even when she discovers her body is being used against her will. Since she’s not in her body when this happens, saving lives remains far more important!

Liza, why did create this story?
When I was a teenager, I experienced an out of body experience. I felt my spirit leave my body and float out the window. However, once I was outside, the crows started squawking like crazy. I was terrified that a crow would consume my soul. That fear was sufficient enough for my spirit to return quickly to my body, and I never tried that again.
Did this really happen? I don’t know. I certainly thought it was real at the time. Might I have just dreamt it? Possibly. But at the time, it felt very real. As I grew up, I often pondered if it was a delusion or if it really happened, and if it was real, was I really in danger of losing my soul to a crow. Eventually, I wrote A Ghost Walker’s Love Story based on my event and of course my imagination.
Jack Callaghan’s worst nightmare
Jack Callaghan’s worst nightmare had just occurred. Based on a tip of ‘an event’ to occur at the Yankee’s game this Sunday, he had authorized a large contingency of federal agents to attend the game dressed as fans.
When the girl seated directly in front of him had grabbed the man’s wrists and yelled he had a bomb, Jack never hesitated to act. He and Harry had the man pinned and secured within seconds. However, the man had no bomb. Worse yet, during their struggle to pin him down, they had injured the man’s right wrist. Jack knew this meant a multi-million-dollar lawsuit and the end of their careers.
When the woman kept insisting the man carried a bomb, his rage vented towards her. Even then, she refused to back down. She insisted the bomb was in his stomach and the cord hanging from his pants was the igniter.
He had ignored her and ordered Harry to release the soon-to-be lawsuit-millionaire and escort the unstable woman out. Just because his career was ruined didn’t mean everyone else shouldn’t have a nice day watching baseball. Had Harry not seen the man’s attempt to pull the cord, they’d all be dead now. Amazingly, the woman was right in her assertion that the explosives were in his stomach. When the bomb expert arrived, he confirmed that there was enough plastic inside the false prosthesis to kill everyone in a three-hundred-foot radius.
