I’m talking about Northstar Security Series by Stanaley Fletcher.
And today I have Kellee O’Neal, the heroine from Dead Reckoning, here with me but first things first.
Northstar Security Firm is an elite private security agency whose mission statement: GUIDED BY THE TRUTH, is the guiding principle to provide justice for those who have been wronged. Founded by former CIA agents Byron O’Neal, Katherine O’Neal, and Sean Malone, Northstar Security has a ninety-nine percent success rate. That one percent is a still open case involving Katherine’s murder and Sean Malone’s career-ending gunshot wound. Nothing is a hundred percent guaranteed, and angst over one unsolved case doesn’t stop good men and women from fulfilling their duty.
Northstar Security Series Book #1
Caitlin Malone believes screw-ups don’t get second chances. When she returns to Oregon after failing her first Northstar Security assignment and stumbles across a plot to steal deadly pathogens, she sees a chance at redemption.
For USDA Forest Ranger, John ‘Mac’ MacAlistair, having Caitlin home again brings up feelings that are better left buried.
When Caitlin is trapped by the wildfire, started by the terrorists, her only hope of rescue is pinned on Mac, the man she’s tried two years to forget.
Northstar Security Series Book #2
Byron O’Neal, Northstar Security Firm’s director didn’t always run an elite private investigation firm. His early CIA years were spent chasing Soviet spies. Now his past is catching up, and Kellee, Bryon’s daughter is caught in the middle of a game of Russian Roulette. Northstar agent and former Navy SEAL, Egan Maddox, is tasked to save Kellee from the Russian mafia before it’s too late, a task that puts not only his life, but his heart on the line.
And here she is, Kellee O’Neal.
HI Kelley, and thank you for being here with us today. Can you tell us your name?
My name is Kellee O’Neal. At least I thought it was until recently. I still go by Kellee O’Neal, but I recently learned I was born Katya Orlov.
What is your profession?
My current profession is in private security. I’m working on getting my P.I. license.
Are you happy about your life?
I wanted to work for my father, Byron O’Neal, but he thought it would be too dangerous. I’m not happy, feeling I had to move away, but I’m excited to be on my own for the first time in my life.
Would you change something about it?
As much as I’d like to go back home and work for my father, I’m determined to make this new job work.
What is the quality you most like in a man?
I love a man who has strong ethics and is committed to his personal code of conduct.
What do you value the most?
One of the things I value most is family. My mother was killed when I was in my teens and it seemed I lost not only her, but father and brother too, as they threw themselves into their jobs leaving me to my own devices most of the time. I know they were dealing with their own pain, but I missed how we were as a family so much.
Is marriage outdated?
I don’t think marriage is outdated. I think that if a couple is committed, then they should demonstrate that commitment with marriage. What better stability could there possibly be if children are brought into the union?
Thank you, Kellee!
Northstar Security Series Book #3
When Northstar Security Firm investigates the blackmail of a U.S. Senator, agents Riley O’Neal and Mary “Chip” Anderson don the unwelcome cover of newlyweds to find two kidnapped women and stop the blackmail – and posing as newlyweds to avert a national security crisis is a lot harder than it seems.
Breaking the Honor Code
Northstar Security Series Book #4
Reformed playboy Sloan Cartland doesn’t work that hard to live down his reputation, especially when it gives him an advantage as Northstar’s profiler. But when the company’s network is hacked, he puts on his game face and joins forces with the firm’s cyber queen, Allison Richards, to track down the cyberterrorist.
Sparks fly between the total opposites as Sloan moves past Allison’s geeky-persona. The passion is unexpected but pleasurable, until Sloan receives evidence that implicates Allison as the hacker, compelling him to question her loyalty and his feelings.
Allison must choose between her heart and honor and find a way to use her formidable skills to turn the tables on her enemies before Sloan decides she’s a traitor.
… the mechanic shook out a rag and laid it on the floor. Then, like a mother laying a baby in its crib, he gently placed a part from the engine on it. Finally, he straightened and started around the other side of the lift. As he took off the ball cap, a black ponytail fell over one shoulder. Replacing the cap with the bill facing forward, the mechanic turned and unzipped the grease-stained coveralls.
“Hi.” Sloan offered a smile. “I hope you can help me. I’m looking for—” The words stuck in his throat as he stared.
The mechanic wasn’t a man. He—no, she was Allison Richards. And she was safe.
The look on her face mirrored his own shock. He hadn’t expected to find her so quickly, and certainly not fixing engines in a garage.
That wasn’t his only surprise. Instead of the oversized white lab coat that was her uniform at Northstar’s lab, she wore faded denim coveralls that hung baggily off her shoulders. But it was what was under the unzipped coveralls that showed off attributes he hadn’t realized she owned.
Tell It Like It Is
Northstar Security Series Book #5
FBI agent, Nelson Kane’s Aunt Rosalee has a story to tell. Someone wants her stopped. When Northstar Security’s unconventional bodyguard, Justine Shelby, is assigned as Aunt Rosalee’s protection, Shelby learns she’s as welcome as a wiretap at the annual J. Edgar Hoover Christmas party. Ornaments start to fly when Shelby informs by-the-book, Agent Kane to stay out of the way while she helps his aunt complete her tell-all memoirs.
Stanalei’s love of writing romance stems from reading favorites such as Grimm’s Fairy Tales, Barbara Cartland, and Alistair MacLean. She has over twenty years of training in the martial arts and holds the rank of Sandan, a third-degree black belt, in Aikido.
After a taste of life on both U.S. coasts, she now resides near the beautiful Wasatch Mountain Range with her hero, who just happens to be her best friend and husband.
